History of Animation: Fleischer Bros. Inkwell and Betty Boop

Fleischer Bros., who ruled the animation roost until the code came to town.  The code affected everything they did, while it barely affected Disney's aesthetic.  Essentially, Disney survived the code and Max Fleischer was pummeled by it. A far more urbane sensibility, also - early use of rotoscoping to stimulate more realistic movement.
